Our Vision

Daley Food, is a 100% owned Aboriginal company, which intends to become a one stop shop for healthy food products for Aboriginal communities in Western Australia.

Daley Food will work in cooperation with Western Australian Aboriginal Advisory Council (WAAAC), who through the Department of Aboriginal Affairs, want to build genuine, respectful and reciprocal relationships with Indigenous people and achieve better life outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men, women and children.

About Us

The Daley Group – consisting of Daley Food Pty Ltd; Daley Meat and Livestock Exports Pty Ltd and BSG Live Export Pty Ltd are 100% owned aboriginal businesses.

This group sees the operation of it’s core business activities to provide training and job creation for aboriginals with the broader outcomes would be the creation of opportunities for other Aboriginal companies and organisations in Western Australia.

The group’s core values are to utilise renewable, natural resources to provide healthy and nutritious food, high quality lifestyle and services, as well as contributing to improve people's living standards, social prosperity and stability.

Supporting Sustainability in Food & Agriculture

Our Products

Daley Food’s initial focus is a joint venture agreement with a significant water logistics company to provide safe potable water supplies to aboriginal communities in remote locations within Western Australia. This business has capability to also deliver large volumes of demineralised water to mining projects throughout Western Australia. Daley Food also intends to form another joint venture with a leading gluten free bakery to offer healthy bakery products to aboriginal communities as an alternative to ‘junk food options’ as a means of reducing obesity levels within aboriginal communities.

In addition, DMLE will utilise Supply Nation to access higher value market opportunities that currently exist within the Supply Nation welcomes the statement from the Federal Government today announcing a new strengthened Indigenous Procurement Policy to come into effect on 1 July 2015. Supply Nation is Australia’s premier business-to-business membership body, connecting Australian corporates, government departments and non-government organisations with Indigenous business suppliers.

Training

Daley Food will work in cooperation with Western Australian Aboriginal Advisory Council (WAAAC), to provide ‘on the job’ training for aboriginals.

Initially training opportunities will be offered within Daley Food’s meat processing enterprise and water distribution enterprises.

With the broader outcomes being the creation of opportunities for other Aboriginal companies and organisations in Western Australia.
